As the title says I'm looking for unarmed medieval peasants to be townsfolk in a city. Beggars and peasants, shopkeepers and anything else. All I seem to find, other than reaper, are armed versions.

Perrys have some. Including women, children etc

Foundry do several packs, they’re very nice but nearer 25mm than 28mm.

Im interesting to see how Fireforge Games peasants will look in flesh when they are released.
https://fireforge-games.com/northern-kingdom/370-folk-rabble.html (https://fireforge-games.com/northern-kingdom/370-folk-rabble.html)
I dont know about release date.

Foundry also do some larger ones as part of their Casting Room miniatures line:
https://www.castingroomminiatures.com/collections/collection-3
Black Tree do some too:
https://eoeorbisuk.com/collections/feudal?page=1
Both ranges have blokeys with pitchforks and scythes, but generally in fairly passive poses
-
Thank you all, do many to choose from. I like the foundry but the Perry are very high up too and slightly cheaper, slightly. Decisions decisions. I may get some armed ones too with the unarmed as poor obandits.

Mirliton has a large range

Peasants are by definition country folk.
-
Gripping Beast have sets of peasants and peasant women and children.
But kinda early.

-
Essex miniatures have some rather nice ones also.
-
I second the Mirilton ones, they have some really unique and characterful figures plus a load of accessories like food etc
-
How about Lead Adventure Miniatures Bruegelburg figures?
-
Midlam miniatures do a load: https://www.midlamminiatures.co.uk/townsfolk.html
Fantasy, but medieval fantasy
-
Old Glory has several different packs of 'revolting Peasants'. While they are for the most part armed (with rocks, clubs, farm implements) they are cheap and weapons could be easily snipped off or re-purposed.
https://www.oldgloryminiatures.com/products.asp?cat=169
Warlord Games has several packs of civilians from different historical eras. Not exactly medieval, but could be modified to look more medieval quite easily:

https://us-store.warlordgames.com/products/ancient-celts-civilians
-
they are part of warlord games pike & shotte Italian Wars 1494-1559 range but I used them for earlier medieval too...painted more "bland" (less colorful)
ones I have and painted:
Market Day

Street Entertainers
https://us-store.warlordgames.com/collections/landsknecht/products/street-entertainers
Landsknecht villagers
https://us-store.warlordgames.com/collections/landsknecht/products/villagers
other that may work:
Pike & Shotte Villagers

Pike & Shotte Townsfolk
https://us-store.warlordgames.com/collections/landsknecht/products/pike-shotte-townsfolk
there are some other that may be appropriate @

good luck

lol, makes my first post sound really ridiculous then. I want some country folk to be town people in a city...
-
Black Tree Design make two sets of peasants -"Good people of the land" in their Feudal list as well as a blacksmith and forge. I know some people feel service from Black Tree is poor but I have never had any trouble.
Curtey's Miniatures also have civilians. I don't have any of these so I don't know what these are like.
-
Cheers mate. Blacktree do some nice things and I've never had issues either besides a small delay. I think I'll go Perry or Warlord though. Warlord have a beggar I really want for my Quest for Glory project as well which plods along slower than a snail.

Silly question but how do the Mirilton figures compare (in terms of scale/sculpt/etc.) to other manufacturers? Could they be mixed in with other manufacturers' figures for a large crowd?

Street-wise yokels?
I was going to mention ebobminiatures' pack of three townsfolk, but I see it is discontinued. Not much point mentioning it, then.

Well, they could be rubes in town for the fair, I suppose.
-
About half of my peasant type folk here in these pics... probably a dozen or more sources.

I modified the Old Glory figures quite easily. Change the weapons from upright to downward...ie brooms, scythes, pitchforks so they look like they are being used for their general purpose. Plus they are cheap.

Maybe they're a bit too fantasy looking, although I gather they would look right at home next to the Bruegelburg crowd, but there's a Kickstarter running right now offering non-combat villagers/townspeople: Dunkeldorf (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=115539.0)...
-
I spotted those as well. A bit pricey though and being a kickstarter there is always the risk. Some cool little guys in there though.

Not a silly question mate lol. I haven't ordered any yet so can't help sorry. Planning to order some towards end of the year.
-
I’d try Norwich, if I was you but before closing time if you want them unarmed.

Mirliton boy and Framer with GB late roman (on thinner base), GW witch hunter and new SM (as scale measures are in the eye of the beholder :)

I'm really shocked. I knew medieval peasants lived in hovels, but I had no idea they were so small.

They're like hermit-crabs, you see!
Also thanks for the comparison photo @AWu! That helps a lot!

I've just seen this, which may be of interest, though no doubt old news to many:
