Title: [KICKSTARTER] Black Sun Kickstarter is now Live (now canceled)

This topic has been posted over at the Weird War discussion but we realize some of you may not be visiting over there. Please take a look at our new Kickstarter because there are lots of Cthulhu elements in our game. Of course all the figures have been sculpted by Miskatonic alumni Bob Murch.

I feel they didn't really present it very well. This was suppose to be a weird Vietnam game.
Yet, almost all the figures they have done or were intending to do were straight historical
Vietnam War. If you are doing weird Vietnam then show weird figures. Where are the monsters
or weird elements?

I backed for the Deep Ones with rifles and was on the fence about the rules as I don't play a lot of games except solo anymore but if there were to be more weird elements I think I might have been more inclined to go all in (the Germans and ghouls had potential too.) Will wait and see what the re-tuned version is like or just get the figures off their site if it doesn't pan out.

That was brief.  Wasn't terribly excited about it anyway - Savage Worlds did a Weird Nam campaign book ages ago and I'd just use that if I found I needed to scratch that itch.  Adding guns to Mythos figs or Mythos features to historicals isn't exactly hard conversion work.

Thanks for the input. We were trying to sell more to the historical crowd and from your comments we should have targeted more the weird elements which is why we took it down for retooling.
