My first batch of pirates... bound for Blood and Plunder.

Minimal basing for them as they will be on deck, on the beach and in country...

Really nice! Much prefer these to the official B&P minis.

These are:
Pirates - Foundry and North Star
Caribes - Foundry

I have mixed feelings on the B&P castings - some I like, some not so much. What bothers me most is their (sometimes) soft detail...

These pirates are very well done.  My compliments on the shading/highlights.  How do these Foundry and Northstar figures compare to the B&P figures in stature?

Have you looked at Trent Miniatures from NorthStar? They have rebellious slaves in their Napoleonic Caribbean range:
