I’m working on a base of knights but couldn’t resist posting this early progress photograph.

Beautiful painting and posing. Can't wait to see the finished stand. :-* :-* :-*

Love that
-
Makes a beautiful little vignette - excellent painting.
-
I really like this painting. The hounds are very good also. Well done!
-
As always Stuart an inspiration, I've yet to paint my hounds so now got some new ideas.

Here’s the completed base.

Really nice.

Wonderful. Very colourful. :-* :-* :-*

Incredible painting, I love the herald in particular!
-
That’s a beautiful composition, quite apart from the painting skill.
And those buildings on your blog are amazing.
-
Magnificent - a huge +1 to every positive comment on here so far!

Superb vignette and painting. I love how Poynings has the most up-to-date armor and fashions, while the poorer nobles and knights have armor of 1470's vintage.

Outstanding :-*

Stunning base :-* :-*
-
Lovely as ever Stuart. Another miniature masterwork :-*
-
Lovely stuff, I tend to put hounds on my command bases. Makes them really stand out.
-
Well that's mighty impressive!

Lovely painting; great composition.
