Agreed, how is it that AB can make such wonderful figures in 20mm with faces that paint up so well and look so naturally human, and yet Warlord and other 'heroic' size manufacturers in 28mm treat us to figures with horrible gargoylish gurning caricatures?

I agree about the AB Miniatures sculpting. I just finished some British in leather jerkin. Fabulous figures to paint. Every face was different.

AB are by a sculpter who trained in figure and life drawing...

Maybe it's not bad miniatures but the subtle hand of the talented painter that makes this so good! Practice makes PERFECT! V= I always admire your work.
