Title: 28mm Zulu Figure Compatibility

Planning on getting back into miniature gaming after a lengthy absence and need opponents for my Anglo-Zulu War British figures from Black Tree and Foundry purchased several years ago. I am considering using the plastic Zulus from Wargames Factory for the masses and Empress Miniatures metals for the leaders, characters, specials, etc. I have never seen these Zulu figures in the flesh and hope someone can enlighten me as to whether figures from these two manufacturers could be mixed within a unit. Would anyone know of comparison photos on the web? I need roughly 400 figures and would hate to find out they wont mix after purchase.

I don't have any Empress Zulus but I will assume that the OG's will match up nearly the same and the Black Tree Design Zulus might be a tad bit taller/chunkier than empress.

I've got an Empress Brit and an OG Zulu & a BTD Zulu and they look pretty similar to me.

Check out the picture and decide for yourself.

Once they're painted and mixed in I can't tell the Old Glory Zulu apart from the BTD Zulu.

How does a company expect to sell their product when they can't even invest in a digital camera and put up a couple of nice photographs? It is really amazing how some of these companies are able to stay in business with the tough global economic climate! :-[
