Title: The Creatures of Croatoan - Elizabethan Frostgrave/Ghost Archipelago
Post by: Bogdanwaz on April 17, 2019, 03:29:57 PM
I'll be running another Elizabethan fantasy/horror game at Historicon in July using the Frostgrave rules system.  Last year I had run A Dead Man in Deptford about the murder of Christopher Marlowe.  This one will be about the search for the Lost Colony of Roanoke.  I've posted some pictures of the table on my blog:

That's a very nice board. Would look great for regular GA games as well.

that's staggering good   :-*  ... but all your stuff is!

* - having now read your blogpost - with all the other great pics, my unasked question has been answered -Cigar Box mat.
styrofoam 'inserts' work well - I tried that during my dalliance with mouse-pad material mats (also tried jam jar lids etc), but your mat is much larger which probably helps.
is it mouse-pad or cloth?

the game set-up / narrative sounds fantastic.
said it before, but your games are absolutely what I'd have liked to achieve in terms of skirmish / RPG (lite). More lucky players at the Con.

Thanks all for the kind comment, especially Bloggard!  To answer your question, the Cigar Box mats are cloth, a sort of light felt I believe.  They lay very nicely over formers.  They don't wrinkle much when folded up and they are machine washable.
