I lost one of my oldest, best, generous, creative, inspirational, maddening and wonderful friends overnight. And at far too young an age. I am bereft. Sleep well Shep. The pain is over, and the sun will be forever on your back.

The Beast of Bukhara may be gone, but he will
Never be forgotten.

A terribly sad loss. I have followed the Kriegspeilers dilligently and there will be a hole in that  travelling circus act which I bet will be hard to fill.

I didn't know him, but followed his exploits through Ignatieff's posts.  Sad to hear he is gone.
