I'm pretty new here, so this is the start of my ACW collection! I will continue to add to this post and post pictures of both new additions and my current collection. Bare with may be a slow process, first up the 10th Tennessee 25mm Dixon Miniatures (https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Zobd_XkbuHo/XMNBj8BOY3I/AAAAAAAAMtc/pLZlLzWheNYyg_IF4rREYw7-iTLzElHSgCKgBGAs/s1600/20190426_152452.jpg)

Thank you, it's being a while since I added anything to my collection but they aren't going to be the last 👍
-
Like 'em.
-
Dixons aren't for everyone but you have doen a super job on them, really nice. :)
-
Two great looking units :)
-
Very nice looking figures they have inspired me to get back to my Dixon's. I have a regiment of union infantry still in the box. Must try not to get distracted.
-
Thanks guys it's much appreciated, my collection is still growing and more units are planned. I will try and add some more photos soon.

Lovely work.
Since Dixon figures have "cast on" head variety, I wonder if they could offer african-american cavalry and artillery figures. :?

The ACW are quite an old range from Dixon, if they don't do them already I doubt he will change them now. But headswaps are easy to do?

They do artillery figures if I remember correctly, but on saying that the head swaps for the cavalry were easy to do.

Got to agree head swaps are easy to do, but on saying that I've a bad habit of cutting figures up and converting them quite a lot.

Really nice minis. I was wondering about basing 2x3 rather than 2x2 and I think your collection might have persuaded me.
-
Nicely done!
-
They looks superb. These Dixons are full of character
-
Thanks guys, Bookworm the bases are slightly more heavy weight, its six Miniatures to a base.
StoneMtnMinis, I'm working on my next additions this time it's the Blues turn.
Treebeard thank you. Dixon Miniatures are packed with Character and paint up beautifully 👍

They are well done and the Dixons have so much character!
You achieved awesome face expressions, congratulations!
It would be great if you could take some pictures at some lower angle so that their faces can be seen better.
-
Thank you it's much appreciated, I will have to get the guys out and take a few more photos 😊
-
Love Dixons..great job.
-
Thank you, I do enjoy painting these little guys. 😊
-
Very nice.
I'm a fan of Dixon and have around 1,000 ACW. Always great service also.
-
Outstanding!
-
Really love this thread - I've a lot of time for Dixon's ACW and yours look wonderful.
-
Thank you it's much appreciated, the ACW is an era I keep drifting back to. It's easy done when these little fellas paint so nicely
-
Love 'em all - and with a bit of gloss they seem to *pop* too.
Did you add any clear gloss to strategic high-points?

When I started collecting these guys, many many years ago I was using satin varnish and I just carried on using it.
-
I have a few Dixon figures, nothing like as nice as yours.
Your scenery is nice too.
-
Thank you, I only collect and paint now adays but I do have one or two regiments in my collection
-
I have all ways love the Dixon Civil war figures.
Your figures are great.
I was lucky to pick up a ton of painted guys a number of months ago.
Am rebasing them, slowly.
-
I've still got loads of figures to paint, it's just finding the time now adays. It seems in very short supply lol
-
Not a Dixon man myself but when they are this well painted they do look very very nice
