Title: Thoughts on Battlefront WWII (F&F) for Moderns?

I'm looking for a ruleset to do Yom Kippur.   I like squad=1 stand, and have read a good portion of these rules.
They seem understandable, and deliver the scale i want.  They also have the stats for moderns on line.

But no one seems to play them.  Anybody out there who can give me a review of the rules?
Why don't I see people playing them?

That cos I haven't actually finished the modern rules yet... They're only up in bits and pieces at present.   ;)

The WW2 rules are great, though and they do place a great emphasis on infantry and artillery over tanks.
