Let's just assume for a minute that I'm tighter than a gnat's chuff and want to part with as little cash as possible (or preferably none at all) in exchange for finding a good, comprehensive set of painting guides for the various Star Wars peoples and things, episodes 4-6. Where might such a penny pinching git go to find them?
I've already got a nice Stormtrooper illustration with the various types of armour for the different specialist troops and eras.

I mean. There is always YouTube:-

There's often star wars illustrated guides/visual dictionaries of one or another sort in places like the Works or WH Smith's. Charity shops often have them in their book selections for a couple of quid too.
-
Hmmm, yes … good ideas both.

If you're in the UK try The Works bookshop - they always have loads of cheap SW books in the comic or kids sections including the odd DK visual guide or mission book and they are usually around £5!
-
Yeah, sadly they closed down my local Works, but they're still available online. It looks like it's the Works then!
Thanks all.

Purely by chance I spotted this baby in the window of a charity shop on my way to pick up my daughter from school today. 50p!

There's always wookiepedia. I would post the link, but my tablet's having "issues" ::)

You could also try using the resources provided by the 501st costume archive:

I'm guessing it is fairly accurate, they are quite fussy about their costumes, I think!
