Wish there was a cross-posting feature, like on that other site...
Condottieri di Ventura (https://condottieridiventura.it/)
In Italian, it's basically a Wiki devoted to Condottieri between 1330 and 1550...

Great list of battles and actions during the Italian renaissance, including the Italian Wars. A lot more going on in the Italian Wars than one usually reads about - ambushes, attacks on marching columns etc. Lots of potential scenarios for small battles and skirmishes. Some interesting (and at times graphic) biographies too ...

Well past the Medieval period, but for those interested in later era "condottieri" and the Italian states and involvement in the various European conflicts, I recommend Gregory Hanlon's The Twilight of a Military Tradition: Italian Aristocrats and European Conflicts, 1560-1800 (https://www.amazon.com/Twilight-Military-Tradition-Gregory-Hanlon-dp-1857287045/dp/1857287045/ref=mt_paperback?_encoding=UTF8&me=&qid=).
