Hello, board,
I have to travel abroad fairly often, and sometimes for several weeks at a time. This time around, I brought in a travel painting and some miniatures so I could distract myself during the evening. However, my progress has been hampered by very bad lighting. Does anyone know of any lamps that are small enough to travel with that are good for painting?
Thanks in advance.

I have this one:
https://www.homebase.co.uk/arlec-aren-7w-led-desk-lamp-white_p392632
It is a generic product re-branded by local suppliers (This one is Arlec, mine is Noeloy) but the same light. Weighs around 700g plus charger, although it will charge by USB from a PC. Can be used without power supply from internal battery.
Daylight LED light is fine for painting.

Have you had a chance to look at this yet? I was looking at the folding ottlite lamp, but it's only 110 V, and I want one that can handle the whole spectrum of voltages without needing a converter.

We got a painting lamp from Lidl a few weeks ago. Clamps onto a table, has a USB cable to recharge it.
Brand name is Livarno Lux. It's described as a LED battery clip light.
There are some on ebay and amazon.
