Okay, a quick show of hands. Who wants a 1/96th - 1/100th scale, SHADO Moonhopper / Moon Mobile for their 15mm troops to ride in, and for others, and/or aliens to fight against?
This will be available in 1/72nd scale shortly, but I'm trying to convince the manufacturer to make a smaller scale one too, to go with our 15mm troops. Seems like the perfect ride for those GZG Moongrunt miniatures.
I'm guessing at least a few of you may be interested.
I want two of them, myself, in the smaller scale.
I'm willing to bet John Treadaway will want a pair too.
So, feel free to chime in here, or send the Fantastic Plastic people a note (Allen Ury is the person I've been in contact with about this possible project) to let him/them know about your interest too.
I imagine if they hear from enough people, this might actually happen.

I'm game for anything UFO/SHADO, even when my own project is 28mm, so; yes!
This is one vehicle from the series that has not been done (apart from the Moon Tank, SHADO Jeep and Foster's car), so it's hard not to be excited about it... :D

With 50 preorders, he'll make this happen.

I got a reply back from Allen, and it appears it won't be much cheaper in the smaller scale. He's suggesting $75 for the 1/96th - 1/100th scale model, due to the labor involved in making them.
Don't know how much interest, there will be at that price.

How about when it's at 1/50 or 1/48 instead? I reckon there will be much more interest when it's suited for 28mm ;)
