Title: BEHOLD THE THREADOMANCY - Pig faced orc identification challenge Part 2!

Hi everyone - thanks for casting your eyes over this little mystery model...

No base or slotta :(
nearly 28mm foot to eye, 50mm foot to tip of the spear.
discovered in the uk. Found at a bootfair in a dirty old tin full of citadel beastmen.

Scoured the citadel catalogues, I cant find any reference to him. So am guessing he's from another range. He's got a bit of a pig-snout for a nose and tusks; I know in the early dungeons and dragons days there was a tradition of pig-snouted orcs - perhaps an orc rather than a beastman?

Does anybody recognise the features?

Can anybody recommend some contemporary manufacturers who were putting stuff out in the 1984-1988 time period? (its an assumption, thats the date of all the citadel models I found alongside him)

wishing a great day to all

I tried an internet image search (BING), and success!  He was manufactured by some company called Donotello.

Mine must be the winter-coat version!

Not seen one like that before. It's ugly but has a certain charm at the same time. Interesting that there's no fixed base or evidence of a slotta tab. Now I want to find out what it is!

I was just thinking that it reminds me a little of the 1978 Ralph Bakshi orcs.

He's from Gremlin Miniatures  (http://miniatures-workshop.com/lostminiswiki/index.php?title=OC_Orcs)(Chariot crew, orc 3).

LOL! This forum!
how do you do it!
a week of my life!
Hobgoblin, thank you. Slightly amazing!
and the base - it wasn't cut - he was meant to be mounted.

Gremlin miniatures, well well well - thats a new one!

Nice work! The chariot crew thing probably explains the base too.

I have 2 challenges for you bored or most expert LAFers!

First up - another pig-faced orc!

And as my previous little gremlin orc now resides in the leadmountain of the greathobgoblin, this was my only picture here on the thread to potentially inform investigations.

I do note on Hobgoblin's link to the lost miniatures wiki there was a reference to a Gremlin miniatures Trebuchet and small catapult - I'm tempted to say - could this be one of the crew?

So I enquire of the community - does anybody have a gremlin catapult or trebuchet and could confirm?
