We had a four way game of Galactic heroes, me, my brother (Andym), my son and my daughter’s boyfriend.
The mission was set on a forest moon in a galaxy far, far, away.
A group of Rebel commandos have managed to seal some fuel required for an A wing Starfighter stranded on the moon.

The rebel commandos (commanded by my son) have had to land in their Y wing transport at a clearing nearby and then transport the fuel through the forest to the hidden landing pad using their transport sled.

The alliance navy are waiting at their landing pad (Commanded by me)
They have a weapons sled in support

The empire want their fuel back and have employed a group bounty hunters (Commanded by my Daughters Boyfriend) to find the fuel, they have found the landing pad and called in some imperial support.

Storm troopers are going to attack the Landing pad (They are commanded by my brother, Andym)

the bounty hunters come on the bottom right.
Each team is made up of a leader, a specialist and four regular troops, most of the figures are armed with blaster rifles bit the leaders have blaster pistols, the specialist in each team has a heavy blaster, I didn't have a suitable figure for a specialist for the Navy so instead they have an R2 droid piloting a support weapon grav-sled
-
That really does look great
-
Looks great! Get to the Choppa, I mean, A-Wing!
-
Great stuff gents :)
-
That is just freaking cool. Love the board, the mission, and most of all the ability to find three other people to play with!

The bounty hunters try to sneak around the back of the landing pad but were intercepted by the navy captain, who spent the whole game, heavily wounded, defending this route to the landing pad

The navy advance on the remaining bounty hunters
The navy had lost their R2 unit and the support sled
The rebel commandos, after some technical issues with their sled, managed to reach the landing pad to finish the game, with a win
-
Boooo the rebels won :(
lol
Brill :D
-
The stormtroopers lived up to their usual reputation, in our games, and died to a man and their shooting was pants lol
-
Happens in ours as well but we ave started using them as 'henchmen' but giving them whole team the Deadeye trait to try and balance it but still keep it cinematic.
-
I don't think it was the rules that did it for the stormies but my brothers crap dice :D
I may need to let someone else have a go with them lol
-
lol
-
I forgot to show a picture of the painted Grav sled by Oshiro models
Also my converted Navy crew

I wasn't going to use him in the game as I thought he would have been to powerful
(http://leadadventureforum.com/gallery/39/1912-250719230255-399761701.jpeg)
And a picture of the guilty monster that done the deed

-
Nice idea with the trompe-l'oeil.
-
Will Alfie return in the next installment? lol lol
-
One question, please. How is your experience with balancing battles in Galactic Heroes? Do you do a dry-run before your games or do you have developed a feeling how to build corresponding forces? I'm asking because the lack of a point system. Thanks!
-
We've never really had any issues with balance as each group has access to the same number of traits, etc. It's a narrative game rather than the type of game that relies on points systems.
-
Alfie is the best looking thing I’ve ever seen on LAF ;)
Nice one Colin.
:D
-
Thanks all
Never had a problem with uneven sides, we have pretty much had the same weapons and numbers on each side
-
Thanks for your replies! I'll keep an eye on the ruleset. Have to try out some other stuff first, but FfoL looks promising, especially for Multiplayer purposes.
-
lol
Paint him as a Force ghost :D

Excellent stuff, loving the bunker entrance. ;D
