Took me a while to finish these two, but eventually I made it lol
With the release of the Wargods of Olympus rulebook in the near future, I hope my motivation for this miniatures range will grow again ;)
cheers Thomas

Very well done Thomas. :-* :-* :-*
Love those chariots.
-
Very nice!
-
Those are great! :-*
I didn't know there were chariots available. Or is this a KS-only thing?
-
Beautiful job Thomas! The horses are very well done and the added reins= topnotch.
Sir Barnaby, he did 3 new chariots, Mycenae and a generic one as done above and a Trojan specific. I don't see them released yet but you might try a email. The Trojans aren't on the site yet either but I have heard, maybe just a rumor, that you can get them.

Lovely work sir.
-
As Pete wrote there is a Trojan chariot as well :)
I think I posted it some time ago, but here it is together with the second which I just finished!
Sir Barnaby, in the rear chariot I have replaced the fighter with the KS-only titan hunter.

Brilliant work. Wish I'd have added these to my kickstarter now.
What did you use for the reins?
-
Great work!!
-
What did you use for the reins?
I use 0,3 mm or 0,5 mm copper wire, which I lead through a 0,6 mm hole in the bridle and a 0,8 mm or 1 mm hole the drivers hands. The wires are put in place after all painting and assembling is done. They are the last bits to paint then...
Quite some work, but I think it pays off :)
Sometimes I have used 2 wires twisted like for the pharaohs chariot below, however these reins look a bit too thick and are very fiddly to attach to the drivers hands...
-
Stunningly well done figures.
Thank you for posting, as they are very enjoyable to look at.
-
so much awesomeness...
really cool !!
-
I actually think the twisted rope looks better and works well with the heroic scale of the minis. They all look grand though.
-
Supurb work!
Cheers

Nicely done Matt, well buddy!!

Very nice all around!! :-* :-* :-*

Splendid paintjobs! And the reins are super cool. Love it.
-
Simply wow!
-
Great paintjob! If you want the twisted rope look but more in scale, you can use telephone cable or the copper wire they use for speaker and guitar magnet coils.
-
I know I already commented, but I just keep coming back to these. Just so well done!
-
Agreed they are splendid. I used the poo-poo the Wargods figures as not being proper historicals, now I love them and rather enjoy gaming with my alternative ancients.
-
Thanks for the nice comments :) I always love to read there's other maniacs with similar tastes around lol
I guess you have seen my older Wargods threads here?
A good idea Captain :) didn't think about wires from coils lol
Great to hear your "confession" nick keep on going ;)
cheers Thomas

Together with the chariots I finished 2 of the Mythic Battles minis which I think fit very well to the Trojans, but have a look yourself:

Great painting Thomas. :-* :-* :-*
Keep them coming. :)
