Interesting - know nothing of that series.

Camo-wise I think a little of lozenge and dazzle (dazzle is more forgiving with curves and mistakes). Colours definitely more from lozenge (earthy tones).

I really like the colours in the lozenges. I think they fit the comic, as I don't think it worries too much about realism. The basic model is green, and I think the purple and dark blue, that leaves two other colours to decide on.

Found something to help layout the camo!

Interesting stuff 8). Why not do your Patton in ambush pattern? Historically (apparently) this was designed to go with the MP 44(pea dot) uniform.
I do like the idea of lozenge,however...

So are you going to hand paint them?

Yeah. That is the scary part. No airbrush.

I'm afraid the surface will 1) not take the paint and 2) show the brush strokes.

I've been thinking about doing a test paint on the underside of the model...

A Test image, done in Paint. The colours are a bit too psychedelic, but that is paint. And I don't have them in the proper spots. I started with the dazzle stripes, which was a mistake. I should have done lozenges, saved it and then done the stripes over top.

Looks good.

I've just painted some ambush camo, the trick (annoyingly) is to go over each dot again in a slight lighter shade (and slightly smaller).
