Watch this space!! may interest some of you.
-
Very well done :-* What make is he?
-
It is our own range, we are a new company and will be launching this very soon hopefully.
-
It would be nice to get some feedback on what people think.
I know they not the best images but they give you all an idea.
-
Exceptional looking figures. Are they 28mm?
-
Yes they are true 28mm
-
beautiful! will you cover other countries as well?
-
We are a good way into the the Germans, we have already made a start on the French and plan to do British and Commonwealth as well.
Pretty much going to cover all of the Western front.
-
They look very good, quite realistic proportions.
And on the photo the miniatures look bigger.
I'm looking forward to more.
:)
-
A lovely, clean, well proportioned sculpt. Very nice.
Will you cover the whole 14-18 period?
-
Thank you for all the kind comments
The plan is to cover the whole of The war from 1914 to 1918 on the Western front.
we have started with the later part 1916-1918 and then we will come back to the earlier part.
That’s the plan we will just have to see how it goes.
-
Great looking figures, look really top notch, nicely painted to! :)
-
Very nice indeed. If you do French and Germans from the Verdun period, I'm all in.....
-
This is quite an amazing figure. I REALY HOPE that you’ll do late war French in the same style. :D
-
We are going to be quite ambitious with lots of different figure poses covering all the major nationalities involved on the western front.
As we are a new company of course it will depend on how well things go, we intend that every pound spent with us will be reinvested back into new designs.
What we have up-to yet, I don’t think people are going to be disappointed!
If you like true scale and accurate proportion figures.
This is the whole reason why we have got into this business we don’t want to sell anything that we wouldn’t buy ourselves.
We are hoping to have our website up and running soon.
Please feel free to ask any questions or give me any advise I would appreciate it.
Thank you all.
-
Looking great.

What is your company called and where are you based?
-
That sounds very interesting. I have less than one advice more wishes. Late Frenchmen have often been mentioned here. They are really missing. And perhaps not only the Western Front, but also the Balkans or a side trip to the Eastern Front.
The latter is given too little attention by my standards in the Table Top. But these are only wishes, as I said.
I wish you much success. :)
-
Very nice ... tell us more :)
-
Plastic 28mm ww1 ? :o :o :o
I am in ! :-*
-
These look great, true painter's figures !

Plastic 28mm ww1 ? :o :o :o
I am in ! :-*
Plastic? I assumed they were white metal? Did I miss something? :)
-
They are white metal, I hope this does not come as a disappointment to any of you.
The images that I have shown are just a taste.
I will have more information in the coming weeks.
Keep your eyes out
-
They are really good and beautiful painting too.
-
Very nice indeed. I take it they’re not intended to mix with the likes of Great War Miniatures, Woodbine etc? Just wondering, as many of us have a fair few of those already.
-
I don’t think they will be compatible with great war miniatures
They are not as chunky as great war
As for Woodbine I honestly couldn’t tell you.
-
These are lovely (as is the painting) - good sharp sculpting.
-
Those are very nice sculpts indeed.
Hopefully you will consider cavalry and artillery as well as the infantry types!
-
Fine paint job really helps to enhance the figures.
-
Now, that’s some true eyecandy! Figures as well as paint job. If I may add to the ever growing wishlist? Austrians and Italians for the Isonzo front would see me instantly jumping to order a whole boat load :D

Some more eye candy.
-
Stunning :-*
-
Love the poses and facial expressions. Excellent work.
-
Thank you, some will have separate arms which I think allows for a more realistic looking figure.
-
They look fantastic! 8) :-* 8)
-
Great miniatures, very realistic proportions and very beautifully painted.
Look forward to more.
-
Thank you for the kind comments here you go here is some more.
-
Very nice, I like the dust on the uniform. How do you paint that ?
Are there also Germans planned for the early war ?
-
I do have plans to Cover the early part of the war, but I need to get the late part finished first It all depends how successful I am with the late war range
I use this for the mud and dirt
https://www.migjimenez.com/en/nature-effects/156-earth.html
I thin it out with a enamel thinner seems to work okay
It is completely dried on the French figure and still a bit wet on the German figure
Hope this helps.
-
Thanks for the tip. I will try it out. With you the results convince me.
I wish you much success with the Range. As soon as your shop is ready I will be your customer.

Thank you That’s very kind of you I hope my advice works for you.

Some of the most beautifully painted and sculpted WW 1 figures I have seen - the proportions of the men, weapons and equipment are spot on, and the various details are wonderful. I particularly liked the two officers. Am I correct in thinking they are 28mm in size (i.e. would they be compatible with other 28mm figures) ?
-
Love your figures.
I, like many others would be interested in a time line.
Are we looking at less than six months to get our hands on them?
Or longer?
"We wants them, we wants them now!" lol

I agree! I hope they are available soon!
-
The plan is early part of next year to release. I would say January February time.
In the meantime you guys will just have to enjoy the eye candy
And the sneaky peeks of what is coming
-
I like the new figures.
Well done.
-
I delay my project, because you are creating exactly what I want : Nice late frenchs with realistic adrians.
-
That MG08 is the most well-detailed and accurately proportioned 28mm scale machinegun I have seen. Beautiful sculpt.
-
Jebus! There’s are good. Go for it boys, go for it!
-
And the French are a very underserved army for this period. Weirdly.
-
:-* These are absolutely off the scale incredible sculpts, both for the level of detail but especially the proportions....the paint jobs on them too are stunning...early war is my main interest but am going to be following your reveals with great interest....good luck with your company you deserve every success with these !
-
Wow! These are lovely.
I hope to eventually see some French with nicely detailed Berthiers and Lebels.
-
The best 28-30mm WW1 miniatures I have ever seen. Really cool details for this scale, great dimensions, very charakterfull faces. May you tell us who is the sculptor? I will buy many of them, if there are not to many kneeling and most worse, prone poses ;-)
-
These are brilliant sculpts. The natural poses and the character on the faces are superb.
-
Very nice stuff. I'll be watching this thread with interest.
-
I hope that they will provide an update soon.
-
I will have more eye candy to share with you in the coming days ;)
-
They are very nice looking figures.
-
Sorry I haven’t been very active i have Been really busy the last few weeks getting figures painted and preparing Masters for moulds
not the best picture this figure is still work in progress But as promised here is a little bit more Eye candy for you to enjoy.
-
They are quite extraordinarily detailed figures. I still can barely believe they're 28mm even though its been repeated throughout the thread! o_o I know I'll be lining up to order when they're available.
-
I will have to put a comparison picture against other manufacturers so you can see size
He’s another figure painted last night
Terrain is not my creation, that’s my brothers handy work
-
These are simply fantastic, so much so they are tempting me to a period in which I had no real interest.
-
Marvellous! Could have sworn they were 54mm.
-
I also thought they were 54 mm when I saw the first photo. I can't wait until they are available for sale!!! :o
-
Very nice. The trench is great too.
I'm very curious about the French you have planned.
If they turn out to be as great as the Germans, it will be especially cool.
Really very good work.
-
These are 28mm ?!?!?! Astounding detail, proportions - just beautiful figures (and superb painting, might I add).
-

I will put some pictures up of the French in the next couple of days thank you all for the kind comments.
-
Here is a comparison with other manufacturers , I have tried to get similar posed figures to give you an idea of size.
-
Very nice
-
When can we expect to see them released?
-
I'm all for more realistic proportions in 28mm! These look wonderful :-*
-
When can we expect to see them released?
If everything goes to plan end of February.
-
Fantastic news-will the initial release be just the German's and where are you based (brexit looms)

We are based in the UK 🇬🇧
-
Phew on the custom's charges at least. Thanks for the swift reply.
Stephen.
-
if the basic uniform is kept simpe they could even be used , maybe, as Colonial Germans
-
What happened?
-
We’ve had a couple of setbacks which has delayed us, hopefully we will get on top of these problems quickly so it shouldn’t be too long now.
Here is some more eye candy to enjoy.
-
Very nice work. Love the poses and facial expressions.
-
You would swear you are looking at 54mm figures, not 28mm !
-
Excellent work. Very nice harmonious proportions. The MG 08 is also the right size. Great faces and also nice that the sergeant wears a peaked cap. Bushy moustaches included :o. I would prefer helmets or spiked helmets for the gunners, but that is no criticism.
I am especially looking forward to the French :)
-
Don’t worry we have a whole other crew for mg08 with helmets slightly different poses
I will put some more French pictures later
-
Beautiful sculpts.
Is there any chance of a moving HMG crew with two men carrying the gun on its mount ?
JM

We haven’t made it yet but it’s very possible

Your painting technique makes me curious.
Would you mind explaining it a little bit . Do you use white primer?
-

I use mr surface grey primer.
I mostly use acrylic from a mixture of manufactures I do use enamels and oils but mostly for a wood affect
I start with the face and once I get this right I block out the main colours of the uniform
Then pick out the belts and do the highlights Not much more to it than that if you have a look at the images below I think you’ll get the jist of what it is I’m trying to say
-
These truly are magnificent. Best WWI release I've seen in ages and ages.
Hoping to see some Sturmtruppen eventually!

I can’t see why we wouldn’t do some Sturmtruppen , but I must get the basics released first .
Here’s another French figure which I’m quite pleased with.
-
WOW! I am glad I asked, these look incredible for 28mm.
-
Thank you very much jim 100 for the explanation. Interesting painting style.
The French hornist is great. I can only join the best WW1 figures in 28mm so far.
The miniatures are certainly also suitable for dioramas.
-
I know this maybe the Ultimate silly question are these available to buy?
-
I know this maybe the Ultimate silly question are these available to buy?
They should be available in the next couple of weeks.
-
I’ve only just seen these figures - which is a shame in one way as I feel I have missed out a bit - but its great as I am seeing them seen to when they will be released.
My current WWI figures are all 10mm, but I can see a squad or two of these being purchased for skirmish, or even just a diorama.
-
They should be available in the next couple of weeks.
thank you
-
Any news on the availability of these yet? Or have they been coronavirused?
-
Yes unfortunately the coronavirus has really set back our plans.
It’s not all bad I am managing to get a bit more painting done, but the honest answer to the question “ when will they be released” I just cannot answer at the moment.
I am sorry to disappoint but I feel it’s important to be honest.
-
Fair enough. Everything's all to cock at the moment!
-
I have some Woodbine and like them but next to yours they don't look too good.Shame I'm not too interested in the Western Front.Something tells me that these may never be released anyway but I hope I'm wrong.
Mark
-
One thing you might want to change is the bases as they are quite large.
Mark
-
Truly superlative miniatures. I CAN NOT WAIT!!!
-
Even though I'm more interested in other theaters I might have to get a few of these because they look so good.
Mark
-
What's the latest word on these?
Mark
-
Insane paint jobs....love the proper proportions and that thye are true 28mm.I wish there was a Same standard of scale for all manufactors .some count from the bottom of the base .Others the tops .Some are 30mm....it gets frustrating, to put armies together .Keep up the good work.
-
Still nothing new on these ?
Mark
-
I want these. When are they out?
-
It's not so much a want, I need these to me be mine.
-
jim100 is still coming on the forum. He was on here yesterday but hasn't posted on this thread since May.That's not good. :-[
Mark
-
Strange times at the moment, please bear with me but more photos to follow.
It will happen don’t worry!
-
Good to hear from you.Yes strange times indeed.
Mark
-
:-* :-* :-* A very nice looking range of figures. Reminds me of Avanpost's style but with a WW1 theme.
So what is your best guest release date for your range? Given there isn't likely to be any wargame shows this year (and probably into next), it will clearly have to be word of mouth that gets your range sold. So do you have a website up and running?
-
Crickets"
-
PLEASE TAKE MY MONEY!
-
I need them ! All of them ! Please !
-
Any progress or news on these oustanding figures?
Mark
-
To say I have had a few problems would be an understatement
just Bear with me hopefully in the next couple of weeks I will have a update on the range.
-
It's been a rough year that's for sure so not trying to push you, Just curious about your figures as they are top notch. ;D :-*
Mark
-
jim100
Just thinking out loud.
How about some kind of crowd funding, if money is a problem.
If it is something else, maybe someone on the forum could help.
If you tell me to mind my own business, I understand.
-
I’ve had a lot going on In my personal life but I seem to be getting there now
Like I said just bear with me don’t want to get anybody excited the project is not dead
-
Christ on a bike! The detail on that is superb!
-
Holy crap! I've not seen better detail.
-
That French machine gun team is brilliant. You would believe it was in 54mm, not 28mm.
-
Very nice figures! That's a St-Etienne Machinegun, right?
-
Very nice work on the MG and crew. Love the faces.
-
Great looking MG and crew. :-*
-
Any updates on these figures?
Mark
-
Looks like this is a dead range. What a shame.
Mark
-
Unfortunately I just cannot get life to go my way at the moment therefore I cannot dedicate the time and effort that is required but you never know in the future I’m trying to stay optimistic about the future but at this present moment in time it’s not going to happen I apologise to everybody
-
Real life has a way of getting in the way sometimes. All the best to you and hope someday you can get back to this. You are a superb sculptor.
Mark
-
Wonterfull machine gun and team ! What can we do to help you?

Wonterfull machine gun and team ! What can we do to help you?
Find a miracle worker for my youngest daughter.
I’m not saying it won’t ever happen but it’s not on my List of priorities at the moment sorry to disappoint.
