Title: Submarines in 40K... a Batrep....

Here is something a bit novel....

I got to play a game of Aquanautica Imperials: Battle for the Depths.  This is a game of submarine combat set in the warhammer 40K universe.

Very cool!  Thanks for posting that.  Do you have any plans to make miniatures for it?

Also do you mind if I post a link to your blog to reddit?  They would probably love that over there.

I do have plans to sculpt some minis, but I have had those plans for ..... 5+ years now.   :o

I decided to not wait for the minis and just made do with some paper templates.

Great game report.

I'd be interesting in seeing the rules, as I am looking to complement my VSF/steampunk skirmish game with a submarine game.

Can I suggest you also then have a look at “Conn Sonar” via their Facebook group? It is focussed on Cold War subs, however, (good though they seem) I think that the sweet spot of the rules might be elsewhere, with more subs on the table than in realistic Cold War Gone hot scenarios. They may work well for close range VSF actions with multiple subs a side, depending on what you are after.
