Title: tuco74's ECW project
Post by: tuco74 on November 14, 2019, 10:12:33 AM
I got the Warlord starter set a couple of weeks ago so I thought I'd start a bit of a project log.
I've been working on a Confederate ACW army but wanted another project to alternate between the two. I'm appreciating the chunkier sculpts on the Warlord minis.
It's still early days in terms of background reading so I'm going to keep the uniforms fairly varied but with at least one colour on each mini (coats and sashes I think) to tie each regiment together, so it will probably end up being mid to late war.
First man done (apart from finishing the basing) is one of the firelock musketeers.

Very nice.

I also like to have two projects on the go. It really helps enthusiasm to alternate. I have my eye on an ECW project at some stage.

I do envy those who can stick to one period though, unlike myself. I have my eye on every period from pre history onward!

Yes, I've been working on ACW for a while and it's nice to start something else even though the colour palette is very similar. I've also got a stalled early Eastern front German project to finish and some minis for US Cavalry/Apaches that I've yet to start...
