Title: Magic Wash - Alternative to Pledge Multi Surface Polish (UK)
Post by: Fat Wally on November 14, 2019, 05:40:11 PM
Hi.

For many years I've used Future/Klear then Pledge Multi-Surface Polish as a carrier for 'Magic Wash' however it's now disappeared from the shelves in the UK at Robert Dyas, ASDA, Sainsbury's etc.

Looked at Johnson & Johnson manufacturers website and it's no longer listed as a product.

You can still pick it up on Ebay and Amazon but the price is creeping up, no doubt due to it becoming obsolete.

Any idea of a replacement/similar product?

I too would like to know, as I could not find Pledge polish.

Try Astonish Wood Floor Polish, I did some research when my bottle of Klear finally ran out and this was suggested. Seems to work the same but smells better (tangerine and cinnamon!!).

IIRC I picked it up in Poundstretcher for a couple of quid

I suggest humbrol clear. Good alternative,  but price is higher.

I just pinged SC Johnson a email asking what happened to it.  Will post here if they respond.
