Title: Wargamers social media
Post by: tallyho on November 15, 2019, 02:48:21 PM
Just wondering if any of you are aware that there is a dedicated social media site for wargamers called https://feedmegames.com?

Im on there, so it must be good!

Im feeling rather lonely on the historical front, there are tons of rpg folks chatting and sharing there but not many really sad gits lol.

Yep, and the 'owners' of the site managed to piss off most of the potential community within 5 minutes of starting it up.

Daaang!

You mean there's an online service where you can register to get into discussion with other like-minded gamers?

That's just what we needed!

Wait a moment...

 ;)

Yeah, this, I'm afraid.  :?

I'm definitely not above the notion of wargamers social media, but the outbursts of this ones creator has left me cold on that front.

Followed this on Twitter, and decided to give it a pass  ;)

Happy with visiting LAF for wargame info, cool minis and all

Also got put off by all that. Perhaps the site itself would change my mind, but you appear to have to sign up to even view it.

I'm about to shut down my FB account, so I might be interested if it's as easy to post to as FB is.

What'd the owner do/say to ruin the project already?

Seems a bit of a spammy post...don't think I'll be bothering.

I'm not sure if repeating the twitter drama will bring much good tbh.

I just mean the OP, a 5-post user throwing out a couple words and a link.  Not my style of advertising/spreading the word. :D

Now you mention it, 2 of his posts are mentioning said social media site and another is having a dig at the Lardies. Suspicious, moi?
