Another Sarissa Precision building, but this one is for my jungle table.

I experimented with dried grass I bought at Michael's but it didn't quite work out to plan.

Weathered wood looks great.
Re the roofing, maybe cut into shorter lengths and layer?
I’ve seen some stuff like this at a local thrift store but was looking at it for walls, not roof thatch. May have to reconsider.

Thanks Pacarat
Re the roofing, maybe cut into shorter lengths and layer?
You know, I had the exact same thought- that might work better. :D
-
And maybe slit/cut along outside creases so it’s only one layer deep on each piece?
-
Yeah, I think that is probably the best way to get the most out of it.

Well done.
I like the building a lot.
I have picked up a few of their Jungle buildings.
Will use your photos as a guide.
Thanks for posting them.

Very nice work.
Have you tried towel or fake fur thatching?

I haven't tried it yet, but I am aware of it. I will send some time trying to perfect the use of the rattan material and if it doesn't improve I will probably use fur or towel.

It looks great!
You could also use calf tail, buy from shop that stocks fly tying materials.
