Afternoon fellow gamers,

Last week I put up a text review of a game of Italian Wars using the Furioso set, in that I promised some video run throughs of the mechanics of the rules, well here they are.

Well on the link above, anyway. In full Yarkshire TV colour and HD (ish) with surround sound and no expense spared pop down the Utube and enjoy.

Hopefully of use to explain the game in a more visual way.

All the best, Ken

Enjoyed the videos very much thank you.  I also thought your comments were very useful.  I've just bought a hard copy of the rules on the strength of your blog post.  That sent me to the Lancashire Games sale where I bought a load of Venexia Italian Wars figure.  The power of social media in action.

I'll likely make a few amendments before playing them but I could clearly see the fun.  Probably initiative by 'division' and Army break point ditto.

Cheers everyone, initiative by Division is one we are also considering. Will be interesting to see how that works. The rules do have a bit of "flex" in them which certainly helps. I need our next game to have six players (we had three on most sessions) to judge how that increase in players per unit effects the speed of the turn.
