From Andy Hobdays and Paul Hicks Kickstarter, lovely figures.

Delightful

A nice gritty look :-*

Nice job on those minis :)

Nice work 8)
Love the armed clergy. Will have to get some of them.
The knights I’m not so sure about. Sorry to be heretical, and I know these were greeted with an outpouring of love on their first appearance a few months back, but they look a bit spindly to me, and the poses don’t look quite right. Or maybe it’s the chainmail? Great job on the painting, but - and I speak as a huge fan of Mr Hicks’ work, that owns a shedload of his figures from various manufacturers - something about those knights just doesn’t look quite kosher :?
The warrior monks though - definitely on the money.

A couple do seem to have dodgy poses, maybe it's what chain mail does to you. They do look good in the flesh, so to speak. Strangely enough I wasn't going to order any Monks but I'm glad I did.
Thanks for all the nice comments.

I agree with the Captain about the knight sculpts, but your brushwork is lovely ;D

Lovely gritty look

They look fantastic! Mine finally came in the mail Friday and I was able to get a pair painted up Sunday.

It seems likely that mail of this period was not worn over a padded aketon. Instead, the mail was very tightly tailored.

I received mine on Friday and I am somewhat ambivalent about them. It is not that I don't like them as much as that I have become too used to bulkier, more defined models. I am not too fond of the swords either. I will swap them with plastic swords. Finally, opening the holes in the hands of the spearmen and mounted knights is going to be a work that I am not looking forward to. Possibly, I will use plastic lances too.

EDIT! I put the post in the wrong place!! lol lol lol

My same feeling. The figures I have bought are now, after opening holes in their hands and retiring a lot of moulding lines, in the bottom of the painting list. Not sure about them...
