We are very pleased to release the first codes in our 15mm early 16th century Italian wars range — “Ravenna to Rome, 1509-1527”
http://khurasanminiatures.tripod.com/early-sixteenth-century.html
(... and yes we know 1509 is the battle of Agnadello, not Ravenna, but “Ravenna to Rome” sounds better).
The first releases are the gendarmes/elmeti, and the codes for the French troops (Archers, other lighter cavalry, and foot and guns). Landsknechts and Stradiots will be made next, then Spanish and Italians.

oh my word ... o_o :-*

:-* :o Holy moly the paint jobs. I don't know this period very well but I'm tempted to read up on it just to know the context of the figures.
-
Wow! The beginning of an excellent range of figures.
-
Very nice indeed. Are these big 15s? I'm hoping I can match the Archer cavalry with Venexia Italian Wars 15mm.
The French artillery looks just splendid. I don't need any more artillery but I'll buy a couple of guns and crews just to have them.
-
Ive got a big collection of Blue Moon 18mm Italian Wars figures. Wonder how these Khurasan figures match up with them size wise?
-
I took the plunge anyhow. I reckon the riders will certainly be compatible and if the horses are a bit smaller I can sabot them or replace with Venexia ones.
MGH, if Blue Moon are consistent in size I'd say you will be fine with the cavalry but the infantry will be a bit bigger than Khurasan.
-
At last! Wonderful.
Are you doing early Landsknechts?
-
I’m doing landsknechts for the period 1509-27.
-
Good, glad you cleared that up. I look forward to seeing how you sculpt them for the 1509-16 bit then.
-
Been looking forward to seeing these released; Have to wait until I've finished all my other painting before I embark on the new project but they look terrific (which is no surprise given how much I like the late C16th range too)

Lovely bits of metal! Love their period but my usual moan......no UK or European distributor.....you have so many great figures it’s a shame ☹️

I hope you don't mind me asking, is there a chance that you might get a UK or European distributor?

I’ve been asking for years. They do so many ranges I would be interested in but so far no luck

I'm in NZ, hoping for distributors here is pure fantasyland stuff, so I just suck up the postage rates. Sometimes it can work out cheaper to buy from a UK distributor rather than the US manufacturer, I just hunt around for best total price. These figures look to be well worth the postage cost, so I ordered some last week.
