I recently completed a couple of Lanchester Armoured Cars for my Allied forces in Malaya. There's a couple of pics and some information on my blog:

Love it. I have a Lanchester to paint for my British Malaya forces, and I am still working out what colour scheme I should use

Yep. According to Mike Starmer the Far Eastern armour used the same camouflage as the BEF, but the a/c I have seen in photographs all look to be a single colour, so I was going to with a bleached green.

If you look at this on of 2nd Battalion Argylls the turret at least appears to have some sort of camouflage pattern

good spot, ok, then maybe a very bleached green over green. It does look like a very light colour in the photographs I have seen, completely unlike the very dark interwar bronze green colour.

Anyway, it is noted on the MAFVA site that in the Far East "Until 1943 vehicles appear to conform to UK standards. Colour images exist of Morris Quads at Singapore in Khaki Green No.3 and Dark Tarmac. Early 1943 S.C.C.13 “Jungle Green” introduced for use as single overall colour. But 1944 S.C.C. 16 Very Dark Drab (a.k.a. SEASCC.207) may be coming into use. By 1944 there was a range of colours for camouflage purposes issued by SEAC in Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) but there is no evidence that any of these were intended as disruptive colours. Single overall basic colour remained from 1943 -45."

"Middle Bronze Green (a.k.a. ‘Khaki Green No.3’)
This was the standard colour for all British vehicles in the Far East in the late 1930s and early 1940s.
The closest match is Humbrol 80, though note that prior to the Japanese attack, vehicles would normally be
polished to a gloss, resulting in a deeper, darker tone. A suggested match is Vallejo 895(88)."

They're great photos. The RA battery has recently unloaded from a ship, so the pattern may not be typical for units already in theatre.
