Title: No Problems with Stronghold Miniatures? All sorted.

Has Any one had any problems ordering from Stronghold Miniatures?
My Girlfriend ordered me some of the Home Guard heavy weapons 3 weeks ago & we've had no contact with them, even though they have been emailed to ask about an estimated time of delivary.  :?

Yeah, long time ago. Ordered stuff, it never came, but my card wasn't ever charged either.

At the time there was much talk on another forum of customers not getting their stuff. The fellow running it was said to be having health problems which directly caused the situation.

Bear in mind this was some years ago, though. I have no clue as to the state of affairs these days.

Health problems, family problems, housing problems - I think I have seen them all but I think all genuine. He posts on Frothers I believe so you may have more luck asking there.

Stronghold has been dealing out of the back of his show trailer for some time due to accommodation issues.

He moved about 3 weeks ago to a new property and has been setting up his home and business again, things like new internet contract, setting up the casting for metal and resin. If he had stuff in stock he has been sending it out - but casting new stuff has been impossible.

update: Hopefully he has replied to the correct email address ;)

He posts on frothers a lot under the name of Tardis you could always try there.

Ordered the same Home Guard stuff as you did two months ago, and got it without any problems in a reasonable amount of time.
I'm sure these problems are just temporarily.

Glad its sorted.

He is normally a very nice up front guy. (Those home guard weapons are very nice for VBCW ;) )
