Title: What you can do with a 2'x2' space
Post by: Operator5 on July 21, 2009, 04:31:19 PM
I am getting ready to start up the next Broadsword Adventures Play by Forum game over on The Speakeasy. I decided to post the in progress shot of the board so that players would have some idea what to expect and could design their characters appropriately. Anyway, here is the quick shot I took of the unfinished board.

As redzed stated over on The Speakeasy, by going to multiple levels you can get more out of the space. It takes more work with either building multi-story buildings, or in my case, purchasing a bunch of them from Miniature Building Authority. Players who want to explore this small section of the city will have a lot more options that if the board was a single level.

The set up will also be good for an Indiana Jones game or even a spy game.

I still need to add some little touches to finish it as well. There needs to be some refuse and barrels and such added. This is a BAD section of the city after all.  lol

Great stuff, with all those rooftops the game will run like Prince of Persia or Assassin's Creed!  8)

That's a very dense playing area, with lots of gaming potential. Perfect for colonials, too!

Who said small wasn't beautiful?
