Title: Some adobe buildings I made (Attempt #5)
Post by: Hacksaw on February 23, 2020, 01:59:44 AM
Over the last week I have built a half-dozen adobe buildings, suitable for Old Mexico (or even North Africa) for a friend of mine.

Four of the small -

And two of the large -

He will be using them with older 25mm figures.

I scratch built these using foamcore, matte board for the floor, spackle, and coffee stirrers. They are all 2.5" high, the small ones are 3"x3" square, the larger ones are 3.5"x5.5".

Cheers!

I used the img tags, the pics showed up for me. Trying a different method (still with img tags) to see if that works. They are hosted at Google Photos, is there some arcane sorcery I must do?

Attempt #3...alright then, I am obviously missing something, as nothing is working.

I cannot see your images, just little question marks in small, blue boxes.

Another 'Pictures please' request.

Hacksaw, when posting pictures here you need to be sure to use the Insert Image icon, the left most below the B for bold.  Click the icon and then insert the image address in the middle of the pair of bracketed [img].

Ok, I guess after 4 unsuccessful attempts using various methods I can safely assume that Google Photos is not desirable for image hosting.

Attempt #5 - now $53 poorer, I have reactivated my old Photobucket. Hopefully everyone can now see the images?

Yes I can see the pictures. Nicely done.
Adobe buildings are very useful. I have used mine for:-
Ancients, Crusades, Mexican (western & revolution), Back of beyond,
WW2 North Africa, Afghanistan & even Sci-Fi.

Visible to me now, too.  Curious why you didn't add the wood beam ends sticking out - just says southwest to me (including Mexico)?  No bother, just curious.

I use a Google blog to host my photos and have had no issues so far and it is free.

My attempt at trying to make them generic enough to fit in almost anywhere.
