"Taking a break from Big Battles play testing (or is it Bigger Battles?) to play some Fantasy FfoL.
The small village of Little Tugwaddle sits between the rivers Tug and Waddle. It's quiet green fields perfect pickings for the dark creatures that lurk beyond the forest.
Word has reached Sir Roderick of an eminent attack. He calls upon the good folk of the neighboring lands to come to the defense of his lands.

Fantastic :D

A proper fantasy game, would have loved to be there to roll the dice for the elves or the barbarians. Nice gaming room, too.

Great stuff. Love all the little warbands.

Blessed with large gaming group full of great guys who, like me, don’t take things too seriously. When we were looking for a house, found a great one with a bar downstairs with a space that was really for a pool table. My wife took one look and said, “ this will make great game room”.

Evil triumphs once again. Alas for the forces of Good.

That's a bit harsh about his wife!
Nice looking game, again. Possibly yet another set of rules I will need to get.
Are the fantasy rules in the core book?

Very nice. Treat for the eyes. Glad you all had fun...
Now get back to the Bigger Battles, pretty please.

Are the fantasy rules in the core book?
The Fantasy books will be 3 volumes. First is one on Medieval combat. Don't want any fantasy? Just stop there.
Second book is all about Magic.
Third is on Monsters and forming dungeon crawling bands. Most of which is already at your fingertips with the Core and other books. I'll be reorganizing and laying out for people. As an example, the Bugbears in the aforementioned battle: "Heroes All" team trait which gives only 4 members but they each get 2 traits, which were Large and something else based on what I thought they needed. Ferocious was the Team Trait. That's it. But this make them perfect big hairy brutes. All of which is in the Core book currently.

Eagerly awaiting this as i really like the galactic heroes rule set. When will we be able to buy the new rules?

I really like the look you put together for Sir Roderick and his retinue. Excellent brushwork.
