Title: BBB Bash Day - participation games!
Post by: ChrisBBB on March 04, 2020, 09:11:27 AM
The schedule of participation games for the BBB Bash Day in Oxford on Saturday 13 June is coming together. Players are invited to join in and fight historical battles from a diverse and colourful array of conflicts, including:

English Civil War
Napoleonic Wars
Austro-Prussian War (Nachod & Skalitz, 2-game micro-campaign)
American Civil War
Franco-Prussian War (Sedan - 150th anniversary game!)

plus others to be confirmed. If your favourite war isn't on the list, let us know and maybe we can lay it on for you!

Another addition to the schedule, some Mexican Adventure action:

Puebla (1862), run by Alan Millicheap and his crew.

Check out Al's 'Two Marshals' blog

to see the beautiful games he runs.

I look forward to seeing reports on all of these games, but especially the Puebla game.

[Posting on behalf of Colin Wilcock]

Dear All

It is with deep regret that I have decided to postpone the BBB Bash Day, scheduled for 13 June 2020, to a more suitable future date.

This is not a decision I have taken lightly, but it seems the appropriate response to increased social distancing and the uncertainty over how long it will be before we get back to "normal".

I, for one, will be using this time to get scenarios ready and appropriate troops painted.

Wishing you all the best of health
