Title: 1st Corps Romans question
Post by: vodkafan on March 27, 2020, 11:15:22 PM
Can anyone tell me if the 1st Corps Romans are the same size as the Perry-sculpted Foundry?
I need some cavalry just to finish off a DBA army and forgot to check out the 1st Corps ones when I was at Hammerhead. If they are too big I guess I will have to go with the Foundry.

Thanks Blue Willow. The 1st Corps cavalry look nice, and there is a significant cost saving if I can use those instead of Foundry...£30 for 10 compared with £36 for 9

The 1st Corps Romans and other ancients were sculpted to match the Foundry ancients sculpted by the Perries.

Hi, I actually played a game last night with Foundry and 1st Corps figures in the Roman Force. The 1st Corps figures are roughly the same height as the Foundry ones but not as bulky. In my humble opinion they look OK in different units within the army but not so good close up side-by-side.

Why not use Warlord Roman Cavalry?  Warlord Romans were made to match the Perry Foundry (except the Warlord Auxiliaries).
