It took ages (actually the KS ended in 2014), but eventually the Wargods of Olympus turned up on my door step :) :)
It was no real surprise, because the Croc people kept the backers informed and so I am now pretty happy to rumage around in that long anticipated book.
Hundreds of pages with rules background and a lot of beautiful photos!
Anybody else here in for that book and rule set?
cheers Thomas (a long time Wargods fanboy)

Not received yet (I'm in the Netherlands) but really looking forward to it!
Actually the Kickstarter was in 2013 ;), the advantage of waiting for such a long time is that I purchased the warbands as they became available (spreading the costs :D). I now have Trojans, Corinthians, Spartans and Athenians.

edit: sadly, all unpainted……

That book does look impressive!

DJ, I had a similar strategy, increased my pledge step by step and so managed to collect quite a few Wargods minis. Trojans, Myceneans and Amazons together with some older Spartans are in the glass cabinet, just waiting for a first game...
Some of them I show here in my LAF member gallery ;)

I got my book last week. It is pretty impressive. I also increased my pledges as I got warbands painted so have Tojans, Spartans, Athenians, Corinthians and Mycenaens ready to go. Sounds impressive but I did have 7 years to get them done lol . Since I'm not on Facebook and the forum is pretty much dead let me ask your opinion. Do Amazon archers and peltast get the hatred of men rule do you think?

I am still looking forward to my copy.
But I saw the pdf proof and have to say that I am very proud that some of my minis are shown in the book!

I totally agree Agis, that is a great thing to have!
I am very happy to have a picture of my Trojan temple included in the book :)

Wow, it looks quite impressive :o Does anybody know, where I can get the book in Europe? I took a look at the Crocodile Games Homepage, but buying it there with the p&p it would quite double the price. :'(

Black Pyramid games might be able to order it in for you.

@swiftnick
Thank you very much for that hint. ;)
-
do you know if the mechanics are the same as Wargods of AEgyptus?
-
Just after a quick look they look the same. There are some new things like phalanx, mounts/cavalry and the formation for peltast isnt exactly the same as skirmish.
-
I backed for the miniatures (terrific quality) but as I followed the campaign updates I decided to grab the book as well. Chris was very good with it and accommodated my separate order to the point of trying to save money on postage by asking if I was willing to go in with another couple of local backers. Really great service and big ups to to Croc Games for this.

This book is insane... it took forever for it to get here but man what an amazing book...
I wish they'd be super successful and they could give us books like this more often...
I do have a bit of envy of the super edition you got... I got the regular one.. maybe I should gift my regular edition book to my brother and get the fancy one for myself !!
