That is how I shall term my collection. You see, there is the Old West that most people play as skirmish games - shootouts and the like. And then there is the Pony Wars, the fights between the US Army and the local native folk such as the Lakota (Sioux and Apache but others, too). Since I am doing both and mixing them together, I've decided I shall call it Pony West. Works for me. ;)

Just some ramblings on a town devoid of paint, heck devoid of anything but resin (and some metal nested away inside various of the buildings).
Constructive critique appreciated. Humorous responses tolerated - unless they really are funny! Then whoopee. lol

Added more to the blog, painted creatures on textured bases! Actual progress. And a 'virgin' layout for Alkali Wells, my desert southwest town.

I should have stated I added the Order of Battle for Rosebud to the blog! Posted it last night, LAF was in down time (maintenance), went to note it here this morning, found I'd posted to the wrong blog, fixed that - and forgot to make a note here. There is a little bit of the why to go along with the OOB - as in why I focus on that battle instead of Little Bighorn (despite having the whole 7th cavalry - but it can represent other regiments just as easily).

The Battle of the Rosebud is a very interesting engagement, from a wargame perspective. I hope your project goes well. I gamed US/Indian Wars years ago and will hopefully return to the Plains some day (perhaps with Black Powder rules), so projects like yours are welcome inspiration.
