Title: 28mm African Civilians, Village People,
Post by: Smokeyrone on May 31, 2020, 08:00:00 PM
Earth Wind and Fire, etc.

I need many, have few. (some Perry arabic types, Nick's Northstar, mainly).  I love the looks and selection of Eureka, but last time I ordered, shipping was just too high (like 150+% of a high dollar order, not knocking them, note, )

Where can I get lots of Darkest Africa civies?

Also Copplestone has two packs, African Princesses and African Villagers.

Does Eureka not have a US distributor?  Whenever I have wanted Eureka stuff in the past I have bought it locally in the UK.

Same here though sadly Fighting 15s has stopped stocking Eureka from today. Luckily I picked up some of their Arab/ African/ Indian civilians cheap on clearance for my darkest Africa project. I don't know where you can get them in the UK now.

Oh that's a shame. Looks like us Brits are in the same boat as Smokey now.

Thanks, Citizen! That's good to know. Doesn't help poor old Smokey, but it's good news for the Brit LAFers.

A quick google and I see there is a similar US site. Now I'm wondering if that was the one with the high postage or if Smokey was ordering from Australia previously.

Do you you really expect me to? I much prefer reading a reading a random post here and there and express something very opinionated about just that.

Smokey, there used to be a Eureka USA distributor. Possibly Lon at Brigade Games?

I’m familiar with Old Glory, Foundry, Eureka, and converted Perry plastics for some Arabs or Zulu’s. I put tools in the Ansar hands to make gun crews or laborers.

There is also a Eureka USA site, I have mentioned it twice and provided a link. There's not much I can do if folks don't actually read the thread.  I tried my best. :)
