Now that I've painted the italian "Conquistatori" (Conquistadores). It's time to paint some eldorado aztec/maya.
These miniatures will be a pulp mix of aztecs/mayan with a paint scheme ispired by the cartoon "The Road to Eldorado", then without historical accuracy ;)
They will be hunters or goons in my Palaeo Pulp games or a league in Pulp Alley.

The loyal (and stupid) accolyte of Tzekel-Kan in the left, and Chief Tannabok in the right.

Nice brushwork!

impressive paint jobs. I shall be rooting for them to win vs the Conquistadores!
-
Great character! Well done.
-
I have thought about painting up Mayans ever since I visited my first Mayan pyramid! They are so colorful. Looking good...

Thanks :)
Two more pulp mayan/aztec characters.
The paint scheme is ispired by the Tzekel-Kan and Chel characters from the cartoon "The road to El Dorado".

Those are quite the areolas. :o

Those are quite the areolas. :o
Yes, maybe I should paint them smaller :-X
But it's not easy to do little details, in fact most miniatures have disproportionate details, to facilitate painting.

I painted two more characters for my Eldorado games. An elite mayan/aztec guard and an acolyte of the temple of Tzekel-Kan.
The guard is painted with a paint scheme ispired by one of the warriors/guards from the cartoon "The Road for Eldorado".

I painted 6 maya warriors, as usual the paint scheme is ispired by the maya from "The Road to El Dorado" cartoon.

I don't understand the question. What do you mean for "sand easy to use"? Actually I simple take that plastic mould, included a small modified house in its top and painted it.

Hape is a company! (Who knew?)

After a long pause, I painted the last warriors and guards ispired by the maya warriors from "The Road to El Dorado" cartoon. A fast and simple painting for the cannon fodder of the mayan force.

Wow, that mould is a fantastically clever idea. And I’m sure it will work perfectly with my 15mm figures.
Where did you get those Toltec (Chichen Itzá) columns?

I painted a 3d printed jaguar. The paint scheme is ispired by the Stone Jaguar from the "Road to Eldorado" cartoon. I paint it with a simple drybrush paint scheme, trying to give it a "stone/jade/rough surface" effect. However, I'm doubtful about the final result and maybe I could consider to repaint it. What do you think?

I painted some 3d printed central america tapirs for my Eldorado games. They will be fine as cattle or preys in Pulp Alley and Palaeo Diet games. I've included an old painted maya warrior, snake and black panther for scale comparison.

Never heard of Pontoonier so thanks for that. I’ve been looking for some females to go with the frostgrave tribals and those definitely fit the bill.

I painted my Eldorado Mayan Temple. Here a picture with all my eldorado mayans.

Some Mayan Nobles I painted for my Eldorado games, they will be bystanders or plot point for Pulp Alley or markers for Palaeo Diet Pulp. As usual the paint scheme was ispired by the "The road to Eldorado" cartoon.
