Title: Re: Shed Wars - WOTR project part 5 (1st July)
Post by: Eric the Shed on June 11, 2020, 06:15:54 AM
Morning All

Back in normal times I mentioned on my blog that I was kicking off a new project that would focus on the War of the Roses. The last few weeks has seen the shed extended, a garden to get to grips with and countless tasks for SWMBO. However in between all that I have made some steady progress. You can follow the proceedings on the blog at this link

The first post focuses on my core infantry units - bow, bill and men at arms - 20 units are now assembled , painted, based and ready for battle

That’s an impressive force and that ‘fast paint’ approach has worked very well.

Ooooh. I like the blue and yellow ones. Very bold.

Careful Giles, you’ll be painting heraldry before you know it, that’ll put paid to your rate of output ;)

It's a slippery slope!  lol

But seriously, excellent work! I really like de la Pole's contingent!

Excellent work Giles - really impressive en masse.

With some different standard bearers you’d have a cracking force for Game of Thrones as well  ;)

Given I am not working now I might need something to slow me down  ;)

Lovely additions Giles....can we have some gratuitous photos of everything on the table together....bonus points if it comes with sound of the table creaking under the weight
