Wondering how to pass the time during Covid and being a fan of the original Magnificent Seven film I decided to get myself the Sarissa Mexican Church which is based on the church in the film for the next time I put on a game based on the fight in the village.

Brilliant! :-*

Nicely done, those roof tiles are ace :)

The roof tiles are printed from the digital roof pack from Sarissa Precision. They took a while to get right, as for some reason I kept putting them on upside down. :(

Great looking church.
Are the roof tiles a 2d print out on paper then? They do look 3d.

They are a digital pack from Sarissa printed out on paper on my home printer. They do a selection of digital pack for walls, roads etc.

Well, you may have inspired the direction I will take for my Mexican church for Alkali Wells. Not going for that exact church but I can adapt that to a piece already started - I will probably make the tower align with the church instead of as in the movie (I'm betting that was for camera angles!).
Nice model work.

Very nice.

Thanks, I thought that was what you meant, but in these days of 3D printing, I thought it best to check. They are very effective at giving a natural look to the roof.

This is next on my list to get as I also love this movie.

Beautifully done!
