My latest episode of "Joy of Wargaming" shows off one of my prized wargame possessions, a slick little book from the late 1990s that features a bunch of fast and beery games suitable for play at the pub (pic related).
Written by long time Miniature Wargames editor Iain Dickie, it took some wrangling to get this from the UK back before the internet was what it would become.
Now, I have no idea how to find a copy. The internet, big as it is, has got nothing on it.
Any of you lot know anything about these and where I might secure a second copy?

Here's what it looks like in person - printed and center stapled and full of small workshop style love of the game.

You definitely need a second copy - shrunk down and printed very badly, then placed behind the other one in the photograph to make it look far away (not smaller), Father Ted style... It's what Mr Dickie would have wanted.

lol lol

Never heard of it but I'd be keen to know more about it :)

Oh man, it's great. I have a video review singing its praises.

Sorry about the cricket noises - it's a new channel and I'm still working out the kinks.
And you can expect a (positive) review of "Super Tiny Skirmish" to go live this Monday.

That was genuinely very interesting. I'm intrigued myself now.

Think we have a winner here. Nice sleuthing!

I quite often use https://www.usedbooksearch.co.uk/ when looking for old titles. Occasionally you get false leads for some reason, especially from the likes of Amazon, but it's good for finding obscure stuff.

Have you tried asking Iain himself if he has any copies lying around? Under the bed maybe, in that little box at the back of the garage? Worth a shot, surely.
