"I AM THE LAW! THE ITTY BITTY ADORABLY SMALL LAW!"
I love judge dredd, But I've never gamed it.Not sure why, just haven't.
I also love 20mm sci fi minis, But sadly there aren't that many around.
Luckily north star launched a bunch for gaslands and i recently got my hands on some with the intent of doing...something.
After a couple of days thinking "I don't wanna do mad max" I realized i could convert the max figure I picked up into a passable judge Dredd, And before long I had a micro machine style copy of everyones favorite fascist!

greenstuff work was minimal but it did the job, I went for a nice bright comicbook style paintjob as opposed to my usual inq28 style.I'll probably knock up some profiles to play with these using Planet 28 in the near future.
Now, On to the gangers...

Awesome.
More please.
Much more :)

Drokk! That’s great!
-
Very cool 8)

Cheers!
I have the gaslands wasteland warriors minis ready to go, I'm thinking of turning them into a bunch of pro democracy street gangers. The only issue is finding pennies to base them with, Since I can't pay with cash anywhere and I've run out of change! :D

This is really something - such crisp and clean sculpting! He looks brilliant. Do you plan to make him a lawmaster to ride?

Good idea! I have the driver figure so it shouldn't be too hard.

Well, I had the same issue and found out, but that was before Corona, that you could buy them at most banks for the ridiculously low price of 1p per coin (at least here). That much better than those goddamn cutthroats try to charge you for plastic! 8)

Wow! That is some very nice work and painting too. looking forward to more.

I started work on the gangers last night, starting with this chap -
He's gonna be the leader of the north meg pro democracy coalition and sanitation workers union.

I've gotta say, I'm sad there aren't more manufacturers making 20mm sci fi minis - it's starting to feel like such a perfect scale, with all the character of 28mm but paintable in about half an hour.
-
Good work...too late for me to start another scale but always interested in what ideas others come with.
Are you planning on building a Megabloc?
:)

:)
I've already started...
Since I enjoy the easy size and portability of these minis, I wanted a portable table.
Anyway, after some browsing through old games on ebay i came across a copy of the Halo interactive tactical board game for £10. The game itself is utter trash, with awful minis, horrible rules (provided on a dvd...) and low quality componenets. But I bought it for one thing, and that's the modular terrain - it's a plastic grid sort of lego affair, and I've started painting up a few bits, adding texture on the flat surfaces and generally making it look less plasticy. With some extra scatter terrain I think it's gonna make a great mega city block, and it all fits in a small box.

I'm on the look out for a second copy, because right now it covers just under a 3x3 area, and with a second set i could build a very nice planet 28 board.

Lovely job, I'm almost done with mine - really enjoyed them

Exactly my feeling - first 20s I've painted in donkeys and I've got to say if you take away range availability and the terrain you might have already, I think 20mm ish (or rather true 1/72, so 21mm to they eye odd) like these are my favourite scale = smaller space for terrain, really nice detail, much easier to paint (certainly for me in my painting style) than 15s but much quicker than 28s. Lovely scale. I'm using mine for a much more near future focussed post apocalypse type situation - I've been 3d printing loads of modern-ish and fallout terrain. TOO. MANY. PROJECTS!

Those are excellent models.
