Title: Wargods of Olympus - Spartan Centaurs!

Thunderlord (Rob) on the Crocodile Games forum recently posted pictures of his wonderful conversions, and I wanted to share them here:

The torsos, shields, and spears are all from the Crocodile Games Spartan figures, the horse parts are from the new-ish Games Workshop Wood Elf "Glade Riders" set.  Apparently they take quite a bit of dremel work to file down to fit, but the end result speaks for itself.

They look nice, but I'd like to get a better look at the transition area where the Spartan part meets the horse part (this is where many Centaur conversions fall down...).

Perhaps that part of the beauty of the conversion?  The meld lines seem to be neatly hidden by natural elements.

Lovely conversions, I always liked the Spartan Phalanx, but find them a bit too large.....
Creating centaurs is the way to get out of that "problem" and still have them fitting to my many other ranges .

They may be used for our fantasy world of Naran, and with our "italian" version of the wargame Fantasy Warriors, with the army of the Arcadia's Creatures.
You may free download the army list from our site of Naran:
