Thank you.  I have been working on my stone weathering and am actually quite chuffed with how it came out.

Very nicely done.

The "Venus of Willendorf" statue is a nice touch. Did you sculpt it?

It was from Zealot Miniatures ancient idols pack.

Nicely done - I'll be copying this idea for my own terrain pieces.

Oh, very nice, glad I inspired you.

I love the hints of purple, blue, and green you've got going on on most of your stones, it looks great and adds to that weird fantasy flavour subtly.

Again thanks for the compliments all.
I love the hints of purple, blue, and green you've got going on on most of your stones, it looks great and adds to that weird fantasy flavour subtly.
For my terrain I prefer a very plain sepia pallet, then I use colour to bring attention to individual details.  In this case the Megaliths are that "detail" so I was trying to add some subtle surface colour using thinned ink filters.  There are reds, blues, orange, sepia, yellow and black painted randomly over the whole surface.  A final highlight of khaki over the coloured filters tied them together and a final green filter over the top to simulate moss.
