Ok, someone needs to make a mini for this thing!
ARMED with explosives, two men are heading to Mongolia's Gobi Desert to find the fabled acid-spitting and lightning-throwing Mongolian death worm.

:o Sweet find!
...or shooting lightning from its rectum over long distances
That would be a sight to behold...
-
I once did that after an all nite orgy/pig roast... :P
Seriously thou I think there is a model out there for that already...not sure who makes it...

I painted some of the Heresy slug things to use as Mongolian Deathworms:

Maybe a bit smaller than you'd like though.
-
I actually think they suit very well.
Why would it need to be huge by any means?
-
From what I've read, the Allghoi Khorkhoi is about six to eight feet long, and the Heresy slugs are maybe a bit small for that.
That said, if they're smaller, they can sneak up on you easier!
Then again, here's a picture I did when I was messing about (sorry for the curseword!):

Doesn't look too bad next to Indy.

Reaper has a couple that might work:

Seeing the price of the second one, that thing's gotta be huge. But hell, you could probably put together a perfectly good worm out of Sculpey (Fimo).

The Heresy ones would make great babies! I need to get some...must resist...gah! They have a lot of stuff I need... ::)
... :P

These burrowers from Mongoose Starship Troopers are great:

I split a box of those Mongoose figure with a buddy...he got two and I got one to put together. The finished model looks fantastic...that said, the finished model is 40% putty. It fit together so bad somtimes I still wake up screaming! Great idea for the death worm, love the mouth...not so big a fan of all the spikey legs, but all around a great Death Worm choice.
-
Yes, that's a heck of a story. Perfect for our needs, I'd say.

lol :o

You know, I assumed the Mongolian Death Worms were from the inside of Rich's head when I saw them on his website... turns out reality is (as it often proves) stranger than you imagine!
For whatever value of 'reality' is appropriate for cryptofauna like this!
