Title: Oathmark campaign game 3: a quick end
Post by: pixelgeek on July 13, 2020, 06:19:12 PM
After a bit of a delay I am getting ready for my third solo campaign game of Oathmark.

I have posted the armies and some photos on my blog and I will update here are I progress.

Looks great! You should share the campaign map in here, that evidently took some hard work! Curious to hear how you find Oathmark as you go on.

Looking good, thanks for the blog.

Can I ask where you got the army builder file that you’ve included pictures of?
Please

I wrote it :-)

You can reach it from this horrible AWS URL

It took almost no work. I used a web-based tool called Inkarnate to do it.

I wrote a fairly long review of the game already. You can find the first part here

Hey thanks for that. Nice and simple.
For now I’ve saved a screen shot of my army.
Is there a way of saving these army lists more efficiently?

Not yet. I will be working on that next

Well the Elves fall apart due to some excellent rolling on the parts of the Dwarven/Goblin force

I am going to rework the Elf army and try again by trying to increase the number of units in the army.

So in preparation for attempting this scenario again I reworked the Elf army list a bit.

Some thoughts on it on my blog

So after looking at the new army list I have decided to hold off on repeating the battle until I get another unit of archers finished. I am one unit away from having a fully painted army and just want to have them all finished. Call it a mania.

So here are the Linebreakers I painted. Not the best photo but they will do.

These look more like Linebreakers than the White Lions I was using. They will also make handy Hearthguard for Age of Magic

All the Elves are ready to go and I am going to do a rematch of the scenario tomorrow.

A photo and some comments about the army are on my blog
