Umfufu, home of King Kamonya.
Adding rest of palisade and finishing touches tonight. (notice I forgot to make one hut's roof)
Not bad, for a quickie, eh?
-
That is a very nice little piece. Well done.

I love the uneven terrain ..perfect.
-
You seem to have a real knack for this type of thing, Smokey. :)
-
Cool stuff. Not bad for what looks like mostly a beach mat I like the thatched roofs.
-
Fab :-*
The fire pits are a wonderful addition to the terrain.
-
looks fab :)
-
Looks great! What did you use for the wall of the village?
-
The village walls, and the huts (not roofs, just hut walls) are cut strips of a reed beachmat
Ok, its looking better....
-
Progress...

More inventive stuff :-*
If you don't mind me asking, where do the metal and ornamental items come from?
-
They are plastic beads, in a mixed bag, I found at Joanne Fabrics (also at Michaels). Many of them make perfect clay pottery. Another pack actually has African art scribed on them.
