Ah! Interesting, I'm planning to do something similar!
I'm making a Flodden Scottish force for Lion Rampant and I'm planning to use some Gripping Beast plastic dark ages warriors for the highlanders.
It's quite useful that Irish and Scottish clanmen basically don't change outfits from the dark ages through to the early 1600s. Gallowglasses and highlanders look so anachronistic next to tudor English.
