First up a few Aventine Republican Romans painted up for a friend. Reasonably clean sculpts but too many bits to put together on the cavalry - head, upper body, sword scabbard - though it does give some variety. The main thing I wish I had changed on the Aventine figures is the pole for the standards, they will be S shaped in no time.
Followed by some Pyrrhic Macedonians for my own force, mainly Foundry with the odd Crusader figure.

Nice work. Shields make them pop.

Looking good!
I have Vcitrix Romans on the way, but am not sold on their Republican Roman cavalry. Thanks for sharing some cavalry from another maker.

Is it the same sculptor?
The helmet covering the eyes I’ve noted on Aventine minis and it looks the same on the Pyrrhic Macedonians.
Mark Copplestone’s Caesarean Romans from Foundry are close to that, too.

Adam Smith is Aventine’s sculptor, Steve Saleh, Nick Collier and Mark Copplestone sculpted Foundry’s Macedonian range.
Aventine cavalry are on the small side.

8 Samnites by A&A Miniatures for a friend, LBM shield transfers and he will finish the bases with Lukes APS Mediterranean basing mix.
