Today we will check out the Wargames Atlantic Dark Age Irish Warriors! These 28mm hard-plastic multi-part figures are the first set of their new Blood Oath miniature range! See the review for more pictures and information along with scale comparison pictures with Gripping Beast and Conquest Games.

Good review. Nice to see a set of plastics that makes up to decent poses, without the all too often stiff, odd ones.

Spot on review and really helpful to show the comparison pics at the end. I bought a sprue just to play with and have been very impressed so far.

Yeah, good review yet again mate. Thanks for your effort. I picked up a sprue and they look good to add to my Middle Earth kitbashing.

Thanks everybody, luckily writing a review about good miniatures isn't that hard as the miniatures sell themselves.
The quality is good with plenty of cool poses and weapons, really great kit and loads of shields but really loads of shields!
Was also looking to use these in a LOTR setting, maybe as some sort of dunlendings but not sure yet.
So make sure to grab a box when you can, the price is also very affordable. ;)

Thanks for the review, I will possibly pick up a box just for the dogs! The figures could be used as Irish, scots islesmen, Welsh and Bretons I think.
Cheers
Matt

Thanks Matt, not an expert but guess these will fit a whole range of suitable nations not mentionning great fantasy possibilities.

True, I can see many possibilities with them

Yes, they are quite versatile and packed with loads of extra parts especially shields.
